Yours truly has not posted in a while. Life has gone at 100mph and between projects, family and sports, there has been little time to share and update.
Just couldn`t wait to post this one before family and I take off for our trip. Such a special garage makeover just in time for Father`s Day 🤩 So grateful to have been a part of it.

Not sure how to set up an effective system for your closet?
We always hang clothes in the following order: by item type, then by sleeve length, and finally by color (light to dark).
Here`s 5 tips for a successful closet set up.
1. Categorize by item type:
Separate your tops, bottoms (skirts and pants), as well as dresses and jumpsuits, outerwear etc.
2. Organize within categories by sleeve length:
For tops, sort from sleeveless (tanks, camisoles), to short sleeves, then long sleeves. Similarly, bottoms, long pants, shorts, long skirts, minis etc.
3. Color coordinate within each category:
Arrange items from lightest to darkest within each sleeve length group. Rainbow order is usually the easiest for the brain to follow and maintain.
4. Special occasion items:
Depending on your needs, you might consider having an occasion category. For some people that means work uniforms, some others need a spot for formal wear that is used less often etc.
5. Calm and unify:
To maintain a clean and organized look, utilize all matching hangers, ensure all clothes face the same way. Enjoy your new space!
