You almost never see this side of my fun summer vacations: the sad side! So here it is.
Yes to all the trips and family time and the new exciting adventures. And then it`s time to say goodbye, π yet again.
The things I`ll never get used to after 24 years of living abroad.
π Saying goodbye to my parents and wondering if this is the last time I am able to hug one or both of them.
π The terrible weight of the guilt inside for leaving them and not being there when they need me.
π The bitter realization of cousins, nieces and nephews growing up and knowing OF you but not knowing YOU.
π The hard truth of accepting that you will never probably move back, or that it will be too late when you do.
For those of you who can, hug your loved ones once more π
And wishing my mama a very Happy Birthday today. I love you and miss you so much already!
